A 47 year old service technician who worked for a chemical company had to stop working due to rheumatoid arthritis and complications from gastric bypass surgery. He was denied disability benefits at the application and reconsideration level. We represented him at a hearing where he was awarded disability benefits. He received back pay of $64,396 and continues to get monthly disability benefits.
