Myth: Welcome to SSD Myth Busters
Welcome to the very first episode of SSD Mythbusters, hosted by brothers Josh and Jeremy Worley of The Injury and Disability Law Center. In this debut episode, they pull back the curtain on why they created this podcast — to give honest, straightforward answers to the questions real people have about Social Security Disability.
With more than two decades of experience helping people navigate the disability system, Josh shares that many callers to their office ask the same questions over and over — and many of those questions stem from misinformation. This podcast aims to tackle one myth at a time, separating fact from fiction, and empowering listeners to understand their rights and options.
Jeremy brings the perspective of someone new to the SSD process — asking the questions most claimants might have — while Josh provides clarity from years of working directly with disability cases. Together, they keep the tone light, engaging, and accessible for anyone who wants to better understand the SSD system.
